One of the greatest happiness

May 10th was the official day. AP Drawing, Design, and Photo students all gathered in Ms. Funcia's room. All of us (hopefully) had our 5 quality pieces ready to physically submit to the AP people to judge. After rushing to finish 4 pieces to complete my concentration, the best reward was to do the final click on 'forward portfolio to teacher'. This is what my concentration section looks like, enjoy!

Working on it

bubbly toes

6th piece for my AP drawing concentration!

Blanca

Blanca - Graphite - 3/19/13
That piece took a while to get done! The one point perspective is off but I managed to made it look like her head is sinking with some shadows.

7 more pieces to go... got less than a month... yeah...

Rex

This is Rex doing what he's best at; sleeping. He's gotten those brown spots on his belly and on his back. I remember when I got him when I turned 10. He was like a white little rat. He's 8 years old now and I hope he stays with me at least until I go to college :)

Art Class

Funny Montes - 2012
One of my pieces for my concentration portfolio is done! Model and I with my drawing posing while Montes is grading some papers in the back. He seems a little irritated, someone probably turned in something late or unfinished. Oh and let's not forget Aurora in the back to the left, maybe about to sit down.... I'm going to miss this class once I graduate.

Our hands and feet

(Sketchbook Drawing ) Graphite and color pencils on paper - 2012
These are Jon's feet and my feet. I decided to add some color and design to break the realist routine :)
